With extensive experience as a judge in multiple states, Liz thoroughly comprehends what is required to compete at this level. In addition to her contribution to the Tourism Awards, Liz has 25 years of experience specialising in marketing and technology for tourism, uniquely blending knowledge and expertise for the benefit of regions across Australia and the world. As an innovator and a creator of breakthrough strategies that have had lasting impacts Liz created Queensland’s first destination websites and started up the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse where she was the CEO for over ten years. Liz is also the co-founder of the award-winning online learning platform TourismTribe.com, helping thousands of tourism operators to navigate the quickly changing digital marketing environment.

Courtney also has over 20 years of practical experience with the tourism industry, including marketing, experience development, and project positions at Tourism and Events Queensland, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse, and family-run eco-tourism/adventure businesses. Courtney is a committed advocate for ecotourism and has a deep understanding of multiple sectors of the Tourism Industry. When you combine this with her passion and experience in supporting operators with Tourism Award submissions, Courtney makes an ideal coach to mentor operators through the process.
