The Queensland Government has partnered with Tourism Tribe to deliver this Queensland-wide program designed to help local tourism operators transition to being AI-native, strengthening their digital visibility, operations, and customer experiences in the new AI-assisted travel marketplace.

Valued at over $1,800 per business, this practical, hands-on program will support 130 tourism businesses across Queensland’s 13 RTO regions to move beyond basic experimentation and integrate AI in practical, high-impact ways.

Through a powerful combination of a baseline digital audit, online workshops, and targeted one-on-one mentoring, and 12 months of on going support, this heavily subsidised program empowers businesses to work more efficiently, improve online search visibility, and confidently reach the modern traveler.

Onboarding & AI Digital Health Check

A modest $220 co-contribution from each participating business is required to secure your place in the program. Once confirmed, your business will undergo a comprehensive AI Digital Health Check. This health check will highlight your critical digital gaps and successes, giving you a clear, personalised baseline to reference as you move through the rest of the program.

Foundational Online Workshops

With your health check results in hand, you will join our two-part foundational, interactive online sessions to understand the changing AI landscape and set the stage for practical implementation. We will run three repeat rounds of this two-part series, giving you the flexibility to join on the dates that best suit your schedule.

These workshops are designed to cover:

  • Understanding the new AI visitor purchase cycle (e.g., ChatGPT search recommendations)
  • The difference between being AI Crawlable (visible to AI searches) and AI Queryable (an efficient business engine using AI).
  • Optimising your digital footprint to ensure your business is visible to AI agents.
  • Identifying opportunities for AI to automate your daily workflows, reduce manual tasks, and reclaim time.

You’ll walk away from the workshops with a clear understanding of the AI adoption pathway and what actions you need to take. All sessions are recorded and made available so you can refer back to them at any time.

AI Adoption Mentoring and Implementation

Following the workshops, the program moves into a tailored implementation phase to ensure you aren’t just learning, but actually adopting these tools. Selected businesses will receive personalised, AI-led support including:

  • Personalised Online Coaching: Two hours of one-on-one online coaching to better understand your AI Digital Health Check results and drive real implementation of your action plan.
  • 12 Months of LifeRaft Membership: Full access to Tourism Tribe’s support environment, including the Atlas AI Assistant, practical online courses, group Tourism Tech sessions, and ongoing learning resources.
  • AI Hub Connections: Access to information and opportunities aligned with Queensland-based AI Hub events and local AI community activity.

Who Should Apply

This program is open to Queensland tourism operators, including accommodation, attractions, events, food and drink, hire, tours, and transport businesses, that meet the following eligibility criteria:

Is this program right for you?
This program is designed for businesses ready to improve how they show up online, work more efficiently, and use technology with confidence. You do not need to be an AI expert. Whether you have just started dabbling with a few AI tools or are simply curious and ready to take your first practical steps to leverage it more effectively, this program will meet you where you are. However, you do need to be prepared to make time for the workshops, mentoring, and regular implementation activity. The businesses that get the strongest results will be those that show up, test new ideas, make changes, and keep going.
