Who are the people behind your business
Brent Carraill & Alex Dye – our two Business Managers. Brent & Alex have lived and worked in Central Australia on and off for 6 years and have made Uluru Segway Tours their passion for two years now.

Uluru Segway Tours has a small and close knit team, and each member of the team brings a different passion or interest to their tours. Perhaps you might spend a morning with Nick who has been aptly nicknamed “The Lizard Whisperer” for his love of reptiles. You can always tell when Scott is on tour, his group will be the one laughing at one of his witty jokes or entertaining tales. Or on your tour maybe you’ll watch sunrise over a coffee with Sarah who knows everything there is to know about plants.

What is a thing you love about your business?
The thing that I love most about Uluru Segway Tours is that it allows people to experience Uluru in a fun and easy way. The tour is great for people who don’t want to rough it in the heat, or don’t feel confident walking for hours and hours on end; but in the same vein it also provides an answer for families who want their kids to learn about Uluru in a fun way. The reason people join a Segway tour can be so diverse, but at the end of the day everyone comes away with a huge smile on their faces.
What is the company background?
Uluru Segway Tours came to fruition after Mark, one of Uluru Segway Tours Owners, was traveling abroad. In Europe he saw many Segway tours and thought that his home at Uluru would be the perfect place for these fun devices. Upon returning home to Uluru Mark thought more and more about what Segway Tours, around the base of Uluru would mean for the area. It was the perfect fit, people madly wanted to explore Uluru’s massive base but didn’t have time or energy to walk it in the Central Australian heat.

We want our business to grow yet continue to provide visitors from all over the world a high class experiences that leave people with a smile on their face and memories to last a lifetime.
