But meeting, meeting incredible humans doing incredible things, but also seeing transformation happen. We’ve just had our fourth and final workshop. We’ve had our fourth and final, our second and final one on one coaching session. Thank you. Yes, so So I started Silverman tours in November of last year. I have, I’m happy to say it’s really advanced a lot since I’ve been in this course. So Silverman tours is where I take people out around the Ballarat and Pyrenees and Daylesford areas, in a vintage Rolls Royce. So it’s not just winery tours, there’s often really great food involved. There are gourmet picnics coming up, for example, but you know, there’s also art galleries and gardens, and I’m really flexible about what people can put into a tour. So yeah,

and just seeing you find your tribe, like coming like, you know, as Tourism Tribe, it’s so amazing to see humans of your regional community and that you found other vintage enthusiast through this journey. Tell us about the program that you’ve and some key takeaways that you’ve had as an fairly new visitor economy experience that you’re putting out in the world? Yeah,

um, one of the big things for me really has been, you know, through you to have that, that new lens put on that, oh, I’m, I’m a destination ambassador. Oh. I love that. But, you know, as I said to you this morning, another big thing from this course has been that it’s made me realise that rebranding was, you know, absolutely essential. So I feel like I have all these new tools that now, you know, take away throughout the course, I’ve been kind of, you know, delving into the online self paced units. I’ve met like amazing people who live in this town who are all doing great things, because yeah, this is a new sector for me, the tourism sector, but now I’ve connected with people collaborated. And it Yeah, it feels like a whole new kind of tourism tribe.

New tool. Now for other like we all have our plugs for and juggling a lot. What would you say to other new existing experienced business owners and leaders in their business about programmes like this digital or any other training that is put on by our wonderful people at tourism? Midwest? Victoria, when they are so busy, what are they missing out on?

Yeah, I feel like, sometimes we can get into that, that habit of thinking, I know how to do social media, I already know that. But actually, until you commit yourself to doing the sessions during the self paced units, you dig through all the layers and go hang on a minute, there’s so much more to this that I actually didn’t know. And I didn’t understand before. So I could have taken I mean, years to actually, you know, uncover all of this information, I probably never would have actually uncovered all of it. But by committing, okay, it’s for workshops. It’s not that big. For workshops, what’s that? 12 hours? Yeah, it could have taken me a minimum of 12 months to learn this. You know, if I’d been trying to dig through, I don’t know, online courses, YouTube, whatever. But it’s better because I come in here, and we’re bouncing ideas off each other. And we can ask the questions. And it’s a much more interactive process than trying to do it all self learning at home.
