Located an easy stroll away from the town center, Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park offers visitors the opportunity to get active or simply relax. Tell us something quirky or memorable about you, your customers or your business

We love to attract young families and offer a fun but safe environment catering for young children to be able to ride their bikes around the Park, play with our fixed activities like the mini-golf, volleyball and badminton as well as us providing scheduled craft activity sessions, taking them on ‘trailer rides’ around the Park, or sending them on a treasure hunt or group bike ride down the Rail Trail.

Hi all, We would like to thank you all for the friendly service we received on arrival, from reception, to escorting us to our van site, then assistance with the supply of an antenna cable to enable reception with the TV. This was our first visit to Beechworth and it was a great experience the park appearance, clean ,tidy and well run, even fire bin and wood if required. We have added comments to all our friends on facebook to what a great stay we had there. Many thanks for a great stay and we look forward to staying there again. Regards Graeme and Lynne

What is a thing you love about your business?

We love seeing people enjoying themselves. Our aim is to ensure our guests have an ejoyable experience at our caravan park, and we encourage them to get out and experience all that the North East has to offer. We enjoy sharing our own personal travel adventures and finding out where people are going and where they have been.

What is the company background?

Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park is owned and operated by us, Roger and Sue Humphris, a husband and wife partnership who purchased the business in 2006. Initially a run-down park in need of attention, we worked extremely hard to improve the grounds, guest amenities and accommodation to increase customer satisfaction and encourage return visitation. The business has experienced significant growth in visitor numbers over the last 13 years and is now well established and caters for families and individuals, offering ‘a bed for every budget’. Our caravan park has a very good reputation for being exceptionally clean, well-organised, helpful and friendly to guests with owners who not only work in the business but are passionate about their business.

What is your ultimate vision for your business?

Our aim is to provide a really great caravan park for friends and family to meet up and enjoy themselves. We aim to continue to provide high quality customer service, exceptionally clean accommodation, a place to park your caravan or pitch a tent and enjoy the beautiful surroundings within the caravan park together with all that the beautiful town of Beechworth has to offer. In 20 years time it may not be Roger and Sue standing behind the counter checking you in, but we like to think we have left a legacy of Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park being a great destination park.
