Program Overview

Coffs Harbour City Council has partnered with Tourism Tribe to offer this fully funded bespoke program to assist tourism, events and hospitality businesses of the Coffs Coast to digitally transform their businesses.  The program focuses on individuals’ digital skills to build  business’ online presence.

Funded by the NSW Government Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund, this project is part of a wider industry development program.

The Digital Coaching Program will help work towards digital goals for your local business, identify areas requiring attention and remove barriers to improve online presence and grow your local business in the post Covid operating environment. Through a three-phase process, providing blended face-to-face, online training workshops and one-on-one coaching around digital literacy and capability, the program is designed  to Assess, Develop and Grow.

The Process

Start with Digital Engagement and ATDW Health Checks™

Once you receive your welcome email, we’ll start right away on a full Digital Engagement Health Check™ of your online assets, including your business website, Google My Business listing, Facebook and Instagram as well as your ATDW Health Check.  Each business will receive both assessment reports.

Workshops

Up to five in-region training days delivering a live workshop program, with workshops designed specifically for Beginner, Medium, and Advanced users.

1:1 Coaching

Three one-hour coaching sessions are available for each participant, where strategists will walk you through recommendations relevant to your business (from your digital assessment) and help you develop a digital strategy to implement these recommendations.

Second Digital Engagement Health Check™

At the completion of the program, your business will undergo a follow up Digital Engagement Health Check™ where you’ll be able to see just how far you’ve come towards becoming a digital superhero.

Tourism Tribe Course Library

During this whole program, you’ll have access to the extensive Tourism Tribe course library to help you to improve your knowledge and digital skills.  These courses can be found on your dashboard.

Privacy notice

Any information collected by Tourism Tribe on behalf of Coffs Harbour City Council about you and your business will be used solely for the Power Up Your Online Presence program. If your application to be part of the program is unsuccessful, all information collected will be destroyed.

    • One on one coaching can be booked once ATDW Health Check is received by participant

Despina Karatzias

Despina Karatzias is your project manager and your contact at Tourism Tribe.

She’s Tourism Tribe’s GM and has been instrumental in the development of new marketing strategies in our industry, establishing strong agent based relationships, implementing carbon offset initiatives, a positive working culture, putting into effect key performance indicators to track growth in her team and driving sales in her role as Business Manager with leading Victorian business, Global Ballooning.
Her direct initiatives and input in the company have contributed a clear understanding of Global Ballooning’s vision, targeted objectives and the sales results derived from the company’s activity in the marketplace.

Can I access the training at my own pace?

Absolutely. All our self-paced courses are available online anytime, so you can learn when it suits you – even during your quiet season or in between guests. You can ask a question at any time at the bottom of each lesson and we’ll get back to you super quick!

Are there live sessions or just recorded content?
