Our business recently received a Digital Engagement Health Check ™ by Tourism Tribe on behalf of the VTIC Digital Tourism Bizkeeper Program 2.0.
The Health Check is a tool they have designed to provide operators with clarity about their most logical next steps to improve their online footprint.
The report we received provides valuable advice on ways to improve aspects of our website, social media platforms and review sites. There was no judgement on our content, just hints and suggestions on ways to improve our digital presence.
I highly recommend business owners complete courses such as the VTIC Digital Tourism Bizkeeper Program or similar to explore ways to make improvements to their business and enhance their digital presence.
Which part of the training did you find most beneficial?
The google map attached to the front page of the website is a great suggestion and I am surprised it hasn't been raised before.
Can you give an example of a skill or knowledge area you gained?
This will be a work in progress. We have a good website, but with the suggestions made by the Digital engagement Health Check, it has the potential to be a great website. I will definitely apply the suggestions presented to me.
