Who are the people behind your business
Matthew Meier is the founder of MaxTour. After living and traveling around the world(including 5 years in China) he returned to start MaxTour in 2016. He still loves getting out on the road and showing MaxTour’s international and domestic visitors the wonders of the Southwest.
Tell us something quirky or memorable about you, your customers or your business

What is a thing you love about your business?
We love meeting travelers from around the world. All of us at MaxTour have a passion for travel, and getting to spend our days surrounded by travelers is a dream come true. We have met so many amazing travelers from so many countries, it is by far the best part about our job.
What is the company background?
MaxTour was born out of a desire to give Chinese speaking visitors to the United States an authentic American travel experience. Too many of Matthew’s Chinese friends were returning from trips to the US disappointed, so Matthew decided to do something about it. The result is MaxTour, a tour company that uses American tour guides who can speak Chinese to introduce Chinese speaking visitors to the best in American National Parks, cuisine, and service.
What is your ultimate vision for your business?
At MaxTour we truly want to bring the world together via travel. We feel the world would be a better place if everyone got out and saw the world and experienced other countries. Seeing the way international friendships form inside our tour vans lets us know our vision is coming true.
