Program Overview

Tourism Australia has partnered with Tourism Tribe to offer a complimentary fully bespoke program to support tourism operators in making the most of their new video and image assets received through the National Experience Content Initiative.

The program developed by Tourism Tribe, helps businesses effectively enhance their digital skills in the use, application and marketing of their new content. This includes training on how to maximise the assets developed both on the operator’s website, for social media platforms and the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW).  Scroll down for the full topic list.

The Process

Operators will be posted a hard drive with their content assets. Upon dispatch of this hard drive, they will receive an invitation by Tourism Tribe to enrol in the training program. Operators who have already received their hard drive will be contacted in early August (refer to the Program Dates area).

Inclusions

  • Three short self-paced courses on the TourismTribe.com platform
  • Fast-tracked 1hr video training session completing key course outcomes live
  • A one-hour personal consultation to help you upload the content to YouTube and your website.

Privacy notice

Any information collected by Tourism Tribe on behalf of Tourism Australia about you and your business will be used solely for the Tourism Australia National Experience Content Initiative.

Operators will be invited to enrol via email for the Tourism Tribe program.

Once participants have completed the Introduction lesson:

One-on-one coaching can be booked.

Program end dates:

  • 1 April 2023: Bookings close for coaching sessions
  • 31 May 2023: All coaching sessions completed
  • 31 May 2023: Access to courses ends

You can view and download your course certificate for any course you have completed on that course overview page which you can access via the main navigation menu when you’re logged in.

How do I find my Digital Engagement Health Check™ report?

You’ll find the link to access your report in the email we sent to you with the subject line “Your Digital Engagement Health Check™ results”. Please do download your report so that you’ll always be able to access it.

Can I access the training at my own pace?

Absolutely. All our self-paced courses are available online anytime, so you can learn when it suits you – even during your quiet season or in between guests. You can ask a question at any time at the bottom of each lesson and we’ll get back to you super quick!

Are there live sessions or just recorded content?

We offer both! Join our live webinars and group tourism tech coaching sessions, or check out the recorded content at your convenience.
