This month’s training will guide you through the process of mapping a strategy for your online marketing. We will guide you through working out your unique selling position (USP) and identifying your target market and the best distribution channels for your business. You will learn to set goals and track your performance so you can do more of what works and achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. We will be getting you thinking about your competitors, your objectives and your brand so that you can better engage with your ideal customers and meet them where they are: online! Week 1 – Preliminary analysis (40 min)

Figuring out where you are now is the first step in developing your digital marketing strategy. This analysis will provide an overview of your business by reviewing your core business values, customer base, competitors, partners and the way you use online platforms. Thereby providing you with a gauge of where your business currently stands in terms of digital engagement.

Week 2 – Live Workshop #1 – Friday 14 June 11:00am-12:00pm AEST

Delivered by the co-founders of Tourism Tribe, Liz Ward and Fabienne Wintle, the first workshop will guide you through the process of determining your current market position and the direction you want to head in.

Workshop #1  topics:

  • Identifying your unique selling point (USP)
  • How to do research and analysis
  • Working out your business brand blueprint
  • Digital forecast: what are the current consumer market trends in tourism?

Week 3 – Live Workshop #2 – Friday 21 June 11:00am-12:00pm AEST

The second online workshop will put you in a position to complete an action plan and a monthly marketing calendar so that you can implement your learning and get into a routine with your marketing.

  • The different pathways to purchase and how you can engage with customers at different levels
  • Developing a marketing plan
  • Using a social media calendar
  • Sustainable engagement
  • Tracking your performance with analytics

The Q&A session is the final session and will ensure all participants have the ability to discuss what they have implemented during the month and get any remaining questions answered.
