Program Overview

Grow the digital capability of your tourism business and help take our industry to the next level.  Now more than ever your tourism business needs to adapt to new digital technologies. The ‘Best of’ Digital Tourism Program offers tailored support delivered at your digital skill level.

This program is valued at over $1,000 and FREE to approved participants.

Proudly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).

 

The Process

Start with Digital Engagement and Health Checks™

Once you receive your welcome email, we’ll start right away on a full Digital Engagement Health Check™ of your online assets, including your business website, Google My Business listing, Facebook and Instagram.

1:1 Coaching

Three one-hour coaching sessions are available for each participant, where strategists will walk you through recommendations relevant to your business (from your digital assessment) and help you develop a digital strategy to implement these recommendations.  You can book your sessions on this page once you are logged in and have received your Digital Engagement Health Check™ report

Tourism Tribe Course Library

During this whole program, you’ll have access to the extensive Tourism Tribe course library to help you to improve your knowledge and digital skills.  These courses can be found on your dashboard.

Privacy notice

Any information collected by Tourism Tribe on behalf of Southern Downs Regional Council about you and your business will be used solely for the ‘Best of’ Digital Tourism on the Southern Downs Program. If your application to be part of the program is unsuccessful, all information collected will be destroyed.

Program Dates

  • 5pm 7 April 2022: Registration closes
  • 3 May 2022: Participants receive Tourism Tribe login details
    • Course library access starts
    • Digital Engagement Health Checks ™ start
    • One on one coaching can be booked once Digital Engagement Health Checks ™ is received by participant
  • 31 May 2022: 1st coaching sessions complete
  • 15 June 2022: 2nd coaching sessions complete
  • 31 July 2022: 3rd coaching sessions complete
  • 3 November 2022: Access to support library ends

Where do I access my course certificates?

You can view and download your course certificate for any course you have completed on that course overview page which you can access via the main navigation menu when you’re logged in.

How do I find my Digital Engagement Health Check™ report?

You’ll find the link to access your report in the email we sent to you with the subject line “Your Digital Engagement Health Check™ results”. Please do download your report so that you’ll always be able to access it.

Can I access the training at my own pace?

Absolutely. All our self-paced courses are available online anytime, so you can learn when it suits you – even during your quiet season or in between guests. You can ask a question at any time at the bottom of each lesson and we’ll get back to you super quick!

Are there live sessions or just recorded content?

We offer both! Join our live webinars and group tourism tech coaching sessions, or check out the recorded content at your convenience.
