Best practice Instagram stories used in today’s training
A few definitions and tips before we start
What is a story: each story can have one or more story slides/frame. We have to build each slide and append them to one another.
A story only lasts 24h – if you wish to save them to your profile you need to create a highlight
A pre recorded video for a story can be up to 15 sec
Be aware that landscape pics will display in full with space above and below (good to add info top and bottom if you take video in landscape mode) with the option to zoom to fit full portrait screen
Edit your pics first (on your smartphone) – the result it always better
If you add location to your story people will be able to click on it, same applies for hashtags
If people comment their messages go to your inbox (accessible from the homepage) as well as to the bottom left of your story
